About the Project for the Study of American Militarism

As American militarism devolves into a 21st century form of fascism, or what has been called 'inverted totalitarianism', it is necessary to chronicle it.

The Project for the Study of American Militarism is dedicated to researching, documenting, and publishing analysis of U.S. military policy, foreign interventionism, and the political and cultural forces that sustain them.

Through articles, videos, webinars, and other media, we aim to provide citizens, activists, academics, and policymakers with the information they need to understand and challenge the militarization of American society.

Our contributors include retired military officers, legal scholars, historians, journalists, and peace activists who bring diverse perspectives to the study of American militarism and its consequences at home and abroad.
